Supplemental #8 requests funding from the General Fund.
1. To appropriate $3,000 in Parks to fund youth shooting program from donation proceeds.
2. To appropriate $13,942 in the Sheriff s Office to fund boating safety program overtime patrols from vessel
registration fee reserves.
3. To appropriate 17,691 in the Sheriffs Office to fund recreational boating safety patrols from grantproceeds.
From the Real Estate Excise Tax H fund:
4. To appropriate $200,000 to fund transfer in support of Birch Point drainage repair project.

ORDINANCE NO. 2016 -013
AMENDMENT NO. 8 OF THE 2016 BUDGET
WHEREAS, the 2015 -2016 budget was adopted November 25, 2014; and,
WHEREAS, changing circumstances require modifications to the approved 2015 -2016
budget; and,
WHEREAS, the modifications to the budget have been assembled here for deliberation by
the Whatcom County Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that the 2015 -2016
Whatcom County Budget Ordinance #2014 -065 is hereby amended by adding the following
additional amounts to the 2016 budget included therein:
