Nooksack Basin Protection Steering Committee. He also said that at the conclusion of

resolution.

Director Nate Brown, Public Utility District No. 1 Director Tom Anderson, Bob Imhof,

where is the money coming from?
Imhof moved that the Committe recommend to the Council that the County's
involvement in this process should continue.
Motion carried unanimously.

The Clerk suggested to the Chair that a motion could be made to ask the
Executive and the Transportation Services staff to prepare ordinances necessary to clarify
that flood control monies may be allocated to the Nooksack Basin Protection project.
If the ordinances are introduced November 8, Council could act on them
November 22, just before County budget adoption.
Dawson moved to recommend approval of budgeting from the River Fund
contingent upon adoption of County ordinances that would allow that to happen.
Motion carried unanimously.
