November 8, 1994
The meeting was called to order at 11 a.m, by Committee Chair Ken Henderson
in the Committee Room of the Council Chambers, 311 Grand Avenue.

1. DISCUSSION OF NORTHWEST ANNEX PARKING LOT IMPROVEMENTS
(AB94 -499A)

Transportation Services Department Director Jeff Monsen
Construction Projects Coordinator Mary Chisholm
Planning & Development Services Department Director Nate Brown
Starkenburg moved to recommend that the Council give verbal approval to
continue with the Northwest Annex parking lot improvement project for $180,000 as
proposed by staff today in committee, keeping in mind that formal paperwork will be
provided for formal Council approval at a later date.
(Clerk's Note. The Clerk helped the Committee solidify this motion. Brenner
suggested a wording change that was included by consensus.)
Motion carried unanimously.
The Committee asked staff to try to plan more carefully and to build in
anticipated cost increases at the beginning of a project.
