Minutes -- June 25, 1984
The Special Council meeting was called to order on Monday,
June 25, 1984 at 7:41 p.m. by Public Services Ccamittee Chairman
Jim Hawley with all members present except Johnson and Cole.
The purpose of the meeting was —to consider an ORDINANCE IN THE
MATTER OF GRANTING A 114ON- EXCLUSIVE FRANCHISE TO NATION WIDE CABLE -
VISION, INC., FOR A PERIOD OF 25 YEARS PURSUANT TO STATE LAW AND SECTION
9.30 OF THE WHATC'OM COUNTY HOME RULE CH1WER, TO OPERATE AND MAINTAIN
A CABLE COOK NICATION SYSTEM WITHIN THE UNINCORPORATED AREAS OF WH1d)C M
COUNTY.
ROEHL MOM TO AMEND THE ORDINANCE AS F0LLCIWS:
Page 4, line 9 Change "Section 5 ".to "Section 8"
Motion carried.
ROEHL MOVED TO AMEMgD THE ORDINANCE AS FOLLOWS:
Page 18, line 24, after the word "system", strike the period and
add the following language:

Grantee on behalt ot such crovernmental unit.

ROEHL MOVED THE FOLLOH)ING:
Page 22, line 10, after the word "complaints ", add the following:
In the event that the parties cannot resolve the subscriber complaint
to their mutual satisfaction, the subscriber is free to pursue all
