Minutes -- March 27, 1984
The Law and Justice Committee was called to order on
Tuesday, March 27, 1984 at 3:02 p.m. by Chairman Johnson
with member,Hansey present. Member Hawley arrived at 3:10
p.m.
MODIFYING THE SPEED LIMIT ON VISTA DRIVE
A review was held regarding an ordinance modifying the
speed limit on Vista Drive. Various area residents voiced
their concerns regarding raising the speed limit up to 45 mph.
from the city limits to the Brown Road. Bob Jurica, Engineer-
ing; reported on the accident count of Vista Drive over the
last year. Other area residents supported the raising of the
speed limit to 45 mph.
HANSEY MOVED TO KEEP THE PETITION IN THE LAW AND JUSTICE
COMMITTEE AND TAKE NO FURTHER ACTION. Motion carried to
table the petition.
Meeting adjourned at 3:50 p.m.
