Minutes -- February 23, 1984
The Committee of the Whole melting was called to order
by Councilmember Hansey at 7 :30 1 m. with all members
present except Cole and Johnson. (Cole arrived at 7:55 p.m.
Councilmember Johnson was excused for the month of February
at the January 19, 1984 Council greting. Also present were
Executive Shirley Van Zanten; Jim,Kresge, Bob Jurica, Ed Henken,
Engineering Department; Jon Holan, Planning; Paul Rushing,
Public Works, Bob Andersen, Water District #10; Faruk Taysi,
Robert Tull; Neil Clement; David IFutbirth; Betty Swanson.
Ken Hertz of the Trillium Cor +oration presented a request
for county participation in intrai� structure improvements in
connection with a proposed develo'ment at the Wilder Farm.
A resolution proposed by the Public Works Department and
correspondence from Hertz of Trillium (dated 2/13/84 and
2/22/84) were received.
County Executive Shirley Van ;�anten spoke in favor of
the proposal. Discussion of the roposal took place..
The matter will be scheduled for $onsideration at the
Council meeting of March 1, 1984.'
The County Executive and County Engineer, Ed Henken,
reviewed a Flood Damage.Repair Pr,ority Listing from the
Engineer's office dated 2/23/84.. "The Executive will re-
view the list and report back to �he Council with recommen-
dations.
The Council also reviewed a report from the Executive
on storm and surface water drainage (dated 2/23/84), which
will be discussed at a future .meelI�ing.
Meeting adjourned at 9:45 p.m'
