Minutes -- Thursday, October 3, 1985
The Whatcom County Council Planning and Development Commit-
tee was called to order at 6:40 p.m. by Chairperson Muenscher
with all members in attendance except Roehl. Also in attendance
were Bill Trimm, Planning Department; Carolyn Casey, Bellingham
Herald, and Bill Leisen.
Bill Trimm, Planning Director, explained the background on
the petition for road vacation of a portion of County Road No. 99
filed by Bill Leisen.
JOHNSON MOVED TO RECOMMEND APPROVAL TO THE FULL COUNCIL OF
THE PETITION FOR ROAD VACATION OF A PORTION OF COUNTY ROAD
NO. 99, AUDITOR'S FILE NO. 172924, FILED BY BILL LEISEN.
There was discussion on the petition.
JOHNSON MOVED TO AMEND THE MOTION BY ADDING THAT THERE WILL
j:>i NO COSTS TO THE PETITIONER OTHER THAN THE FILING AND PROCESS-
ING FEES.
The motion to amend carried.
The main motion as amended carried.
This item was continued over until such time as the Engin-
eering Department's report is in.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:45 p.m.
