PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE
Minutes -- April 23, 1985
The Whatcom County Council Planning and Development
Committee was called to order at 3:05 p.m. by Chairperson
Muenscher. Also in attendance were Committee member Johnson;
Donovan Lehrer, Building and Codes Administration, and Vernon
Umetsu, Planning Department.
PETITION FOR LOT LINE VACATION - FRASER
Donovan Kehrer, Building and Codes Administration, explained
the background on the petition for lot line vacation between
lots 69 and 70, Block 13, Division 8, Plat of Paradise Lakes
Country Club, filed by Doug and Diane Fraser. He stated that
he,was recommending approval of the petition.
JOHNSON MOVED TO RECOMMEND APPROVAL TO THE FULL COUNCIL OF
THE PETITION FOR LOT LINE VACATION BETWEEN LOTS 69 AND 70,
BLOCK 13, DIVISION 8, IN THE PLAT OF PARADISE LAKES COUNTRY CLUB
FILED BY DOUG AND DIANE FRASER.
The motion carried.
REVIEW OF PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATIONS - BILL ROBINS
OPEN SPACE APPLICATION
Vernon Umetsu provided background information on the Planning
Commission recommendations in the matter of the application for
Open Space filed by Bill Robins.
JOHNSON MOVED TO RECOMMEND APPROVAL TO THE FULL COUNCIL OF
THE OPEN SPACE APPLICATION FILED BY BILL ROBINS.
The motion carried.
Following further discussion on open space applications in
general, JOHNSON MOVED TO ADJOURN THE MEETING.
The motion carried.
