COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE
Minutes -- February 13, 1985
The Whatcom County Council Committee of the Whole meeting
was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairman Roehl. A quorum
was present.
PRESENTATION BY MOUNT BAKER WATERSIED PROTECTION ASSOCIATION
The following is a list of the speakers and the topics for
tonight's presentation:
Dr. Ruth Shearer - "Human Health and the Effects of Pesticides"
"Herbicide registration"
Dr. Gil Sumanski - "Environmental Effects of Pesticides"
Michael Savatgy - "Concerns and proposed changes for Whatcom
County"
Barbara Ford - "Relevant literature on herbicides"
Following the speakers' presentations, there were question and
answer periods.
Chairman Roehl thanked the speakers for participating and
stated that the Council would work closely with the Administration
in order to develop a program for the County in the near future.
The meeting was adjourned.
