PUBLIC SERVICES COMMITTEE
December 18, 1986
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Johnson at 5:30
p.m. with all Committee members present. Also present was Lyle
Jones of Nationwide Cable.
DISCUSSION OF CHANGES IN CABLEVISION SERVICES BY LYLE JONES
NATIONWIDE CABLE
Lyle Jones discussed with the Committee the changes in
service which Nationwide Cable planned to provide in conjunction
with the 1987 rate increase, and explained the rationales for
those changes.
REQUEST FOR TRANSFER OF FRANCHISE FROM G.T. CABLEVISION, INC., TO
TCI CABLEVISION
HAWLEY MOVED TO RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE REQUEST.
The motion carried.
APPLICATION FOR NEW LIQUOR LICENSE FOR VALLEY MARKET AND DELI
BURTON MOVED TO RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE APPLICATION.
The motion carried.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:00 p.m.
