PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE

The meeting was called to order by Chairman Muenscher at
6:35 p.m. with all Committee members present. Also present were
Diane Harper, Planning; Donovan Kehrer and Larry Stoner,
Buildings and Codes; Wilson Beyer; Linda Zander; and John
Postman.

Diane Harper explained the ordinance.
JOHNSON MOVED TO RECOMMEND ADOPTION OF THE ORDINANCE.
The motion carried.
Donovan Kehrer explained the ordinance.

POSTMAN BU
Linda Zander, John Postman, Larry Stoner and Donovan Kehrer
discussed with the Committee the Zander /Postman partnership's
dispute with the Buildings and Codes Department concerning the
issuance of a building permit to Mr. Postman for construction of
a house on property deeded to him by the Zanders.
The Committee requested that the Buildings and Codes and
Planning Departments, in consultation with the Planning
Commission if necessary, investigate and study the issue and
attempt to reach a solution which would apply to the case in
question and possibly to other cases of farming partnerships
between non - relatives. The departments were requested to report
their recommendations to the Committee at a meeting in one month.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:35 p.m.
