PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE
April 3, 1986
The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Chairman
Muenscher with all members present. Also present was Donovan
Kehrer, Buildings and Codes.
REVIEW PROPOSED ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING MINIMUM STANDARDS FOR
REQUIRED FIRE FLOW FOR FIRE PROTECTION UNDER SECTION 10.301(C)
OF THE 1982 EDITION OF THE UNIFORM FIRE CODE AS ADOPTED BY WHATCOM
COUNTY AND AMENDING WHATCOM COUNTY CODE SECTIONS 15.16.040 AND
15.16.060 AND ORDINANCE NO. 84 -40
There was discussion concerning the make -up of the committee
which was to be appointed to study the ordinance, and the informa-
tion which should be provided to that committee.
CONSIDERATION OF OPEN SPACE APPLICATIONS
Muenscher explained that this item was in error, as the
Planning Commission had denied the three applications in question,
and -the Council had adopted the recommendation of the Planning
Commission. He said that the Planning Commission would be re-
quested to advise the applicants of the denial and their right
to appeal.
The meeting was adjourned.
