Also present were Executive Shirley Van Zanten; Tom Sutberry, Budget Director; Dr. Hansen, Nor -Bell Advisory Board; Paul Rushing and Brad Bennett, Public Works; Nat Dickinson, Purchasing; and Vic Battson, Assessor. ••1 • •:IN1111 11- 11 ' 1 Shirley Van Zanten explained the ordinance. MUENSCHER MOVED TO RECOMMEND ADOPTION OF THE ORDINANCE. There was discussion on the motion. Dr. Hansen of the Nor -Bell Advisory Board explained that the Board recommended changing the name of the institution to "Nor - Bell Care Center." There was discussion about this suggestion. MUENSCHER MOVED TO RECOMMEND AMENDING THE ORDINANCE TO CHANGE THE NAME OF THE INSTITUTION, EACH TIME IT IS REFERRED TO IN THE ORDINANCE, TO "NOR -BELL CARE CENTER," SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL OF DSHS. There was discussion on the motion. The motion carried. Dr. Hansen also explained that the Advisory Board recommended that the Board President, as well as the Administrator, be given the authority to call meetings of the Board. WARNER MOVED TO RECOMMEND THAT SECTION 2.22A.220 OF THE ORDINANCE BE AMENDED TO STATE THAT "THE MEMBERS OF THE ADVISORY BOARD SHALL INITIALLY MEET AT THE CALL OF THE ADMINISTRATOR WITHIN THIRTY (30) DAYS OF APPOINTMENT, AND SUBSEQUENTLY AT THE CALL OF THE ADMINISTRATOR OR THE BOARD PRESIDENT OR HIS OR HER DESIGNEE.." December 1, 1986 Page 2 The motion carried. The motion to recommend adoption of the ordinance carried. Shirley Van Zanten and Paul Rushing explained the ordinance, and discussion followed. Roehl stated that he would not vote on the contract because Mr. Bobbink was a member of his law firm. There was discussion concerning the terms of the contract and the method of payment. WARNER MOVED TO RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE CONTRACT. The motion carried.
