Hansey joined the meeting at 6:35 p.m. Also present were Randy Watts, Council Attorney; Doug Gill, Undersheriff; Paul Rushing, Public Works; and Ed Henken, Engineering. ORDINANCE AMENDING WHA C M COUNTY CODE I 0 TO EaT-ABLISH SEEEP LIMIT OE 35 MILES PER HOUR L COUNTY RO DS EXCFPI WHERE 01HERWISE P05TED The ordinance had been referred back to the Public Services Committee from the full Council due to the need for technical corrections in its text. HAWLEY MOVED TO RECOMMEND ADOPTION OF THE SUBSTITUTE ORDINANCE. The motion carried. Hansey joined the meeting. ORDINANCE H MATTER.OF GRANTING A NON-EXCLUSIVE FRANC S PT. HAWLEY MOVED TO RECOMMEND ADOPTION OF THE ORDINANCE SUBJECT TO THE OUTCOME OF THE PUBLIC HEARING. The motion carried. The motion carried. OTHER BUSINESS Hawley discussed a letter he had received expressing concern about a large increase in fees for cable service to the residents of Nor -Bell Care Center. He said that the Nor -Bell Board of Trustees was dealing with the issue. EMERALD LAKE ,LJQHTING DISIRICT .EETITION Ed Henken reported that his department expected to have the assessment roll for the lighting district petition ready in June.
