Also present were Chief Gary Russell, Fire District 7; Ray Weden; Donovan Kehrer; and Ramona Reeves, Bellingham Herald. ORDINANCE ESIABLISHING MINIMUM STANDARDS EOR REQUIRED EIRE FLO PROTECTION AND AMENDING W.C.C. SECTION 6.060 AND ADDINQ A N W CHAPTER 15.18 10 THE W.C.C. ENTITLED "FIRE FLOW" The provisions of the latest draft of the ordinance were discussed by the Committee and others present. It was agreed that there were three major amendments needed: 1. A 1001 setback from neighboring property lines for agricultural buildings designated as exempt. 2. Reservoir standards acceptable to the Fire Chiefs. 3. A requirement for mandatory hook -up to water mains if the main is within 15001, providing that the cost of the extension does not exceed 125% of the cost of a reservoir which meets fire flow standards. It was agreed that Donovan Kehrer and the Fire Chiefs would work on the amendments and bring them back to the Committee and the Council at their next scheduled meetings.
