PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE
September 16, 1987
The meeting was called to order at 2:00 p.m. by Committee
Chair Muenscher with Warner present. Also present were Paul
Rushing, Public Works; Diane Harper, Planning; Ramona Reeves,
Bellingham Herald; and Phil Serka.
REQUEST FOR JEANSFER 0 ER Y TO PALM-PEG CORPORATIOUIRELAIE
REQUEST FROM CITY OF BLL N,
Rushing reported that the Blaine City Council had declined
the County's offer to sell them the property in question for
$2,000, but that he was negotiating an alternative proposal and
was requesting a 60 -day extension on Council's consideration of
this matter.
WARNER MOVED TO RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE REQUEST FOR A 60-
DAY EXTENSION.
There was discussion on the motion.
The motion carried.
REQUEST FOR ONE -YEAR EXTENSION OF SEA CLIFF PRELIMINARY PLAT
Rushing reported that the Public Works Department
recommended approval of the request, and discussion followed.
WARNER MOVED TO RECOMMEND THAT THE EXTENSION BE GRANTED FOR
ONE YEAR.
The motion carried.
The meeting was adjourned at 2 :20 p.m.
