PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE
August 19, 1987
The meeting was called to order by Committee Chair Muenscher
at 2 :05 p.m. with Warner present. Also present were Carl
Batchelor, Planning; and Nasser Mansour, Engineering.
PETITION REQUESTING HE VACATION 0 RN E ROAD BETWEEN C S R
SCHQQL ROAD AND PORIAL WAL EILED PX JAKE CREASEY
The Committee noted that the Engineering Department
recommended vacation of the southerly 10 feet of the road.
WARNER MOVED TO RECOMMEND VACATION OF THE SOUTHERLY 10 FEET
OF ARNIE ROAD.
The motion carried.
REQUEST FOR ALTERATIQN QE LQT LINES BETWEEN LO S 265 AND 266,
DIVISION 2 N 2:HE PLAI QE SUDDEN VALLEY, FIL BY ERANK AND
EDITH MCCULLX
WARNER MOVED TO RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE REQUEST WITH THE
CONDITIONS OUTLINED IN LARRY STONER'S MEMO OF AUGUST 18, 1987.
The motion carried.
CITIZEN SUGGESTIONS FOR REZONE AND CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT
PROCESSES
The suggestions for increasing citizen awareness in the
rezone and conditional use permit processes, made by Charles
Waugh at the August 6 Council meeting, were discussed. Muenscher
said he would ask the departments involved to report on their
responses to the suggestions at the next Committee meeting.
The meeting was adjourned at 2 :15 p.m.
