THE PURPOSE OF ESTABLISHING NEW BOUNDARIES FOR BELLINGHAM WARD 5

Auditor Shirley Forslof distributed maps showing the new
boundaries of the precincts and explained the need for the
changes.
VANDERPOL MOVED TO RECOMMEND ADOPTION OF THE ORDINANCES.
The motion carried.
HANNEGAN ROAD CURVES
Engineer Ed Henken discussed the accident rate on the
Hannegan Road curves, and his recommendation that flashing lights
be installed at each end of the curve.
DEFINITION OF MAJOR CHANGE TO CONSTRUCTION PROJECT
Committee members asked Henken what would constitute a major
change to a construction project such as the West Pole Road
project. Henken stated that he believed a difference of more
than two feet on either side would be a major change.
The meeting was adjourned at 6 :45 p.m.
