PUBLIC SERVICES COMMITTEE
June 2, 1988
The meeting was called to order by Committee Chair Johnson
at 6 :05 p.m. with Jackson present. Vanderpol arrived shortly
thereafter. Also present were Ed Henken, County Engineer; and
Esther Henderson.

Johnson reviewed the Executive's memo, which requested that
the Council grant conditional approval of the application,
subject to final inspection and approval by Buildings and Code
and the Health Department.
JACKSON MOVED TO RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE APPLICATION.
The motion carried.
PETITION FOR FORMAT.ION OF A DOG CONTROL ZONE,.FILED.�Y.PARADISE
LAKES COUNTRY .CLUB
Esther Henderson of Paradise Lakes Country Club explained
the problems her area was having with dog control, and discussion
followed.
VANDERPOL MOVED TO RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE PETITION FOR
FORMATION OF A DOG CONTROL ZONE.
The motion carried.

SCHOOL ZONES
JACKSON MOVED TO RECOMMEND ADOPTION OF THE ORDINANCE.
The motion carried.

YEAR C MPREHENSI.VE ROAD. PROGRAM
Committee members discussed various parts of the program,
and the criteria used to determine placement on the list, with
County Engineer Ed Henken.
