PUBLIC SERVICES COMMITTEE
July 7, 1988
The meeting was called to order at 5:35 p.m. by Chairman Corky
Johnson, with Vanderpol and Jackson present.
Engineer Ed Henken recommended approval.
VANDERPOL MOVED TO RECOMMEND ADOPTION TO THE FULL COUNCIL.
Motion carried.
There were no comments from the floor.
VANDERPOL MOVED TO RECOMMEND ADOPTION TO THE FULL COUNCIL.
Public Works Director Paul Rushing asked that this item be
delayed until the first meeting in August because spokespersons
for The Trillium Corp. and DIS were out of town, and because the
County engineer plans to do a traffic study of the area
Two representatives from Whatcom Community College were
present but did not speak. Public hearing advertised for full
Council meeting later in evening would go on as scheduled.
VANDERPOL MOVED TO RECOMMEND A DELAY IN ACTING ON THIS
ORDINANCE UNTIL THE FIRST MEETING IN AUGUST.
Motion carried.
