SPECIAL MEETING
November 6, 1989
The meeting was called to order at 2 p.m. in the Council Conference Room by
Chairman Don Hansey.

HEARING ON THE EXECUTIVE'S PROPOSED BUDGET
Hansey opened the hearing. One person wished to speak:
Russ Weston
2223 Cody Avenue
Urged the Council to hire additional Sheriffs Deputies, as Sheriff Larry Mount
requested. He said the positions would generate revenue, and that with growth in the
County the additional deputies are needed. He also talked about the potential for
enforcement problems, in light of the growth county -wide, and the increase in traffic
fatalities in the past years.
There was no further testimony; the hearing was closed.
The meeting was adjourned at 2:05 p.m.
