The special meeting was called to order at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers, 1000 N.
Forest St.
Council Member Mary Vanderpol taped the meeting due to the absence of a clerk.
No roll call was taken. Council Chairman Don Hansey presided.
SOLID WASTE PROGRAM REVIEW
The purpose of the meeting- was for Executive Shirley Van Zanten to update the
Council on the solid waste program. She distributed a fat packet of paperwork (filed under
AB90 -397) describing the program and its status. Part of her presentation related to
financing options. No action was taken at this meeting.
Present to help with the discussion were Liz Thomas of Preston, Thorgrimson, and
the County's solid waste staff.
There are two tapes on file to provide the verbatim record of this meeting.
