July 10, 1990
The meeting was called to order at 2:35 p.m. by Marge Laidlaw with Don Hansey
and Emily Jackson in attendance. Also present were Sharon Digby, Doris Prather,
Virginia Naef and Art Hyatt.
1. ORDINANCE IMPOSING A MORATORIUM ON VARIOUS
DEVELOPMENTS IN THE SOUTH FORK VALLEY (AB90 -203)
Taylor said he would like a date attached to the ordinance
such as June of 1991. There is not a lot of activity but there is the potential for growth
when Georgia Pacific owns property there.
There were some citizens present (Virginia Naef and Doris Prather) who said
they were petitioners. There was discussion about the ten day window of time until this
comes into effect.
HANSEY MOVED TO RECOMMEND APPROVAL SUBJECT TO THE
OUTCOME OF THE PUBLIC HEARING AND RECOMMEND TO THE COUNCIL
THE WORDS AT THE END OF THE ORDINANCE "UNTIL JUNE 1991 OR
WHATEVER COMES FIRST'.
Motion carried unanimously.
2. Other Business
There was discussion about a letter from Ruby White urging that traffic
regulations be put into place now that there is a comprehensive plan in place.
The meeting was adjourned at 2:510 p.m.
