Minutes of special meeting
March 24, 1980
A special meeting was called for consideration of the Juvenile
Probation Administrator appointment. The meeting was called to
order at 8:40 a.m. with all Council members present.
The Chair read a statement of clarification regarding the pro-
cedures used resulting in the nomination of Gerald Wood by the Exec-
utive for the Council's confirmation.
Roehl moved to confirm the appointment of Gerald Wood as pre-
sented by the Executive. A brief discussion followed.
The vote on the confirmation was 4 in favor (Hansey, McIntyre,
Roehl and Donnellan) to 3 against (Johnson, Muenscher and Van Zanten),
and Mr. Wood was confirmed as the Juvenile Probation Administrator.
Meeting adjourned at 8:50.
