Forest Street, by Committee Chairman Mary Vanderpol. Also present: Marge Laidlaw Absent: Bob Imhof 1. BID AWARD RECOMMENDATION FOR DIKE REPAIRS AT HOVANDER PARK AND TENANT LAKE PARK TO THE LOW BIDDER, CALLEN CONSTRUCTION CO., INC., FOR A TOTAL OF $77,250 (AB91 -372) 16 -18 Persons speaking: Vanderpol, Deputy Administrator Tom Sutberry, Gary Chadwick of Parks, Laidlaw. Topics discussed: This project could be completed this fall. LAIDLAW MOVED TO RECOMMEND APPROVAL. Motion carried unanimously. 2. REQUEST FOR AUTHORIZATION FOR THE EXECUTIVE TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH GEOENGINEERS, INC. OF REDMOND, FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONDUCTING A FEASIBILITY STUDY REQUIRED BY FEMA FOR THE PROPOSED RIP- RAPPING OF CANYON CREEK NEAR THE GLACIER SPRINGS SUBDIVISION. THE AMOUNT OF THE CONTRACT IS NOT TO EXCEED $20,000 (AB91- 373) 19 -20 Persons speaking: Vanderpol, Executive Shirley VanZanten, Bruce Mills of Engineering, Laidlaw. Topics discussed: Item is a Sheriffs vehicle; hearing will be October 22. LAIDI.AW MOVED TO RECOMMEND APPROVAL. Motion carried unanimously. 4. RESOLUTION SETTING THE HEARING AND NOTICE OF HEARING ON THE SALE OF COUNTY TAX TITLE PROPERTY, REQUEST NO. 64 (AB91 -375) 115 -116 Persons spealdng: Vanderpol, Laidlaw, Van Zanten. Topics discussed: November 5 hearing date or later. LAIDLAW MOVED TO RECOMMEND APPROVAL. Motion carried unanimously. 5. Topics discussed: "Funds Available for Internal Loans" (on file); actual intent or action by the Council on Oct. 1; Chairman Dan Warner's 10/2/91 memo to VanZanten; funding of flood - related expenditures; cost of doing a benefit assessment, work programs. Bids on Courthouse (AB91 -369) VanZanten postponed this issue; she is not prepared to bring a recommendation to Council. Budget delivery (AAB91 -386) Persons spealdng: Woods, Vanderpol, VanZanten.
