4 The meeting was called to order by Chairman Dan Warner at 6:40 p.m. in the
5 Council Chambers, 1000 N. Forest Street.

13 1. CONSIDERATION OF HEARING EXAMINER'S RECOMMENDED
14 DECISION ON THE GULF VIEW MAJOR DEVELOPMENT PERMIT

16 Topics discussed: When the 30 months would start (answer is from date of
17 acceptance); The 24 month extension could be requested if substantial performance had
18 been reached at that time; On page 15 of Appendix A, #8 to be eliminated completely and
19 replaced with Heron Association agreement language; Fair share contribution to mitigate
20 traffic congestion; The applicant wants to build to 35 feet in height; Hearing Examiner
21 recommendation that the houses on the north -west edge be restricted to one story.
22 Comments were made by: Hearing Examiner Ed Good; Council Members Jackson,
23 Laidlaw, Hansey, Vanderpol, and Warner.
24 The meeting adjourned at 7:06 p.m.
