June 23, 1992
The meeting was called to order at about 6:35 p.m- in the Council's Conference
Room, 1000 N. Forest Street, by Council Chairman Dan Warner.

1. DECISION ON APPEAL OF HEARING EXAMINER'S DECISION
REGARDING ADMINISTRATIVE APPEAL 5 -92, JOAN L. SMITH, FILED BY
B.T. BARLEAN (AB92 -173)
2. DECISION ON APPEAL OF HEARING EXAMINER'S DECISION ON CU53 -91,
FILED BY TIM STORTEBOOM (AB92 -174)
Civil Deputy Prosecutor Randy Watts was present. Warner announced that item two
was withdrawn at the appellant's request. He then said that discussion on item one may
take place in executive session pursuant to RCW 42.30.140 (2), in order for Council to be
briefed by its attorney on a quasi-judicial matter.
WARNER MOVED THAT THE COUNCIL AS A COMMITTEE OF THE
WHOLE GO INTO EXECUTIVE SESSION FOR APPROXIMATELY 25 MINUTES.
Motion carried 5 -0 (Vander Yacht and Henderson were absent).
Warner left the Conference Room, made the announcement to the public waiting in
the Council Chambers, and the meeting was closed to the public.
The meeting adjourned at about 7 p.m.
