July 27, 1993
The meeting was called to order at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers, 1000 North
Forest Street, 2nd floor, by Bob Imhof, Chair.

1. DISCUSSION OF LUMMI SHORE ROAD PROJECT (ACTION NEEDED IN
NEAR FUTURE) (AB93 -147)
Topics discussed: Financial summary given; clarification of the core project; Phase
II budget; Interlocal Agreement (Amended); projects given to lowest bidder, etc. re:
hiring requirements.
Speakers: Jeff Monsen; Brenner; Imhof.
Monsen hoped the Council would offer formal direction that the outlying intent of
this issue is accurate and that it should move forward. The intent and form is accurate.
Brenner stated she had received letters from the public and asked the Chair to
refer the following items to Jeff Monsen to report to this Committee as soon as possible
on 1) Lummi ferry lane being very dangerous- -why and what can be done about this; and
2) Marine Drive in Marietta--junk cars are being dumped on property next to
complaining property owner..

As there was no time for other business, the meeting was adjourned.
