PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE
March 9, 1993
The meeting was called to order at 1 :30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, 1000 N.
Forest St., 2nd floor, by Dan Warner, Chair.

Absent:
1. DISCUSSION OF CAPITAL FACILITIES PLAN (AB92 -262A)
Topics discussed: Problems of being behind in Growth Management; potential of
an interim capital facilities ordinance; REET funds; impact fees; use of SEPA's policies;
staffing problems.
Persons speaking: Dan Taylor, Planning Department; Brenner; Vicki Mathison,
Planning Department; Warner; Bob Woods, Budget Analyst.
Warner asked Taylor to draft a resolution for the Council to consider which
would involve the SEPA policy with use of the income limited to schools. Taylor will
meet with the school districts to find out if they are interested before presenting the
resolution to the Committee.
The meeting was adjourned at 1:48.
