REQUEST FOR APPROVAL OF BIDDERS TO SUPPLY FRESH FRUITS AND VEGETABLES TO THE COUNTY JAIL FOR THE PERIOD NOVEMBER 1, 1993 TO OCTOBER 31, 1994 (BIDS RECEIVED FROM FOOD SERVICES OF AMERICA, FOOD SERVICES, INC., AND SYSCO FOOD SERVICE OF SEATTLE); B. BID AWARD RECOMMENDATION FOR DAIRY PRODUCTS FOR THE JAIL FOR THE PERIOD NOVEMBER 1, 1993 TO OCTOBER 31, 1994 TO THE LOWEST RESPONSIVE BIDDER, FOOD SERVICES OF AMERICA, AT AN ESTIMATED ANNUAL COST OF $22,648.76; C. BID AWARD RECOMMENDATION FOR GROCERIES AND SUPPLIES FOR THE JAIL FOR THE PERIOD NOVEMBER 1, 1993 TO OCTOBER 31, 1994 TO THE LOW BIDDER, SYSCO FOOD SERVICE OF SEATTLE, AT AN ESTIMATED ANNUAL COST OF $54,164.42 (AB93 -393). DISCUSSION OF COMPLAINT MADE AT 9/14 "OPEN SESSION' BY KURT DESSAUER, ON BEHALF OF THE COMMUNITY ACTION FOR THE DISABLED, REGARDING COUNCIL MEMBER IMHOF'S RESPONSE TO AN AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT REQUEST (AB93 -376). Topics discussed: Definition of how our representatives relate to the Board and what our response should be when a Board in which we participate is not in compliance; accessible facilities; clarification by Dessauer of his complaint on Imhof. REQUEST FOR AUTHORIZATION FOR THE EXECUTIVE TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT ON BEHALF OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, FLOOD CONTROL ZONE DISTRICT, FOR AERIAL MAPPING TO WALKER & ASSOCIATES FOR $253,000 (AB93 -395). IMHOF MOVED TO RECOMMEND APPROVAL. The motion carried unanimously. 9. REQUEST FOR AUTHORIZATION FOR THE EXECUTIVE TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT ON BEHALF OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, FLOOD CONTROL ZONE DISTRICT, FOR WORK ORDER NO. 1 OF THE COMPREHENSIVE FLOOD HAZARD MANAGEMENT PLAN WITH THE CONSULTING FIRM OF KCM, INC. FOR $418.556 (AB93- 395A).
