The meeting was called to order at 1:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, 1000 N.
Forest Street by Ken Henderson, Acting Chair.

1. ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A WEIGHT LIMIT ON BIRCH BAY
DRIVE (AB94 -037)
Starkenburg moved to request the Executive to renew negotiations with the City
of Blaine to make all possible efforts to have Selder Road go through as part of the
interlocal agreement in conjunction with urban growth boundaries.

Henderson moved to table the ordinance until the first committee meeting in

Brenner stated that the Committee meeting on March 22 will begin at 12:30 p.m.
and will be a one -issue meeting with Dan Gibson, Civil Deputy Prosecutor, and Nate
Brown, Director, Planning and Development Services, discussing the letters and
questions that have been received by the Solid Waste Advisory Committee concerning
flow control, the solid waste comprehensive plan, the final agreement with RECOMP
and other related issues.
