The meeting was called to order at 1:30 p.m. by Committee Chair Barbara
Brenner in the Committee Room of the Council Chambers, 311 Grand Avenue.

1. STATUS REPORT ON T.C.I. CABLE NEGOTIATIONS (AB95 -091)

Mary Scrimsher, Transportation Services, spoke (handouts [3] provided).
A short video on Thurston Community TV was shown.

Bob Woods, Council Program /Budget Analyst
Starkenburg moved to recommend approval for the committee to continue their

2. DISCUSSION OF PROPOSAL BY BROWNING - FERRIS INDUSTRIES'
PROPOSAL TO OPERATE POINT ROBERTS SOLID WASTE DROP
OFF CENTER WITH MOTION DIRECTING STAFF IN HOW TO
PROCEED (AB95 -149)

It was agreed by all Committee members that if no interest is shown by other
bidders after follow up by Solid Waste, then continue as before and examine exempting
Point Roberts.
The meeting was adjourned at 3 p.m.
