The meeting was called to order at 3 p.m. by Committee Chair Ward Nelson in
the Committee Room of the Council Chambers, 311 Grand Avenue.

COMMITTEE DISCUSSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS TO COUNCIL
1. ORDINANCE TO AMEND URBAN FRINGE SUBAREA COMPREHENSIVE
PLAN MAP AND THE OFFICIAL WHATCOM COUNTY ZONING MAP
(AB94 -313)
Nelson moved to hold in Committee for two weeks.
Motion carried unanimously.
2. DISCUSSION OF LOT CONSOLIDATIONS (RUBY WHITE
COMPLAINT) (AB94 -516)
Speakers were:

Nelson said he would take this up at a later date with Dan Gibson.

RESERVATION LANDS (AB94 -423) (FROM 10 /11)

4. RESOLUTION DECLARING POLICY REGARDING JURISDICTIONAL
RIGHTS BETWEEN WHATCOM COUNTY AND THE LUMMI NATION
(AB94 -390) (FROM 10 /11)

Dawson moved to recommend for approval.
Motion carried 2 -1 with Harris opposed.
