January 24, 1995
The meeting was called to order at 3:03 p.m. by Council Member Ward Nelson in
the Committee Room of the Council Chambers, 311 Grand Avenue.

SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS
ELECTION OF COMMITTEE CHAIR (AB95 -007A)
Nelson opened the nominations.
Dawson nominated Nelson.
Nelson closed nominations.
Nelson moved that Nelson be appointed Chair.
Motion carried unanimously.
COMMITTEE DISCUSSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS TO COUNCIL
1. REFERRAL OF A PROPOSED ORDINANCE (REMOVING LOT
CONSOLIDATION REQUIREMENTS FROM TITLE 20) TO THE
PLANNING COMMISSION AND PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT
SERVICES DEPARTMENT (AB94 -516A) (FROM 12/13/94)

Dawson moved to recommend for approval.
Dawson withdrew her motion.

Dawson moved to ask staff to prepare a study and recommendation as to the
operations of Lot Consolidation to address problems and shorten time frames and costs
and forward the recommendation to the Planning Commission for action.
Henderson moved to amend the motion to read... "return to the Planning
Committee for review prior to any Commission action "... instead of ... "forward the
recommendation..."
Motion to amend carried unanimously.
Main motion carried unanimously.
ADJOURN
The meeting was adjourned at 4 :07 p.m.
