The meeting was called to order at 3 p.m. by Acting Committee Chair Marlene
Dawson in the Council Chambers at 1000 N. Forest Street.

DISCUSSION ABOUT A CITIZEN COMPLAINT ABOUT PERMIT
VIOLATIONS AT BEACHSIDE RV PARK (AB94 -064)
Mrs. Julie Gerity, 4100 Matia Drive, and co -owner of Beachside RV Park, addressed
the points in the complaint. Bill Florea, Planning, also spoke.
2. DISCUSSION ON THE PROPOSAL TO RESTRICT THE USE OF "GAS
POWERED MOTORS" ON BOATS USED FOR RECREATIONAL
PURPOSES ON CAIN LAKE, WHATCOM COUNTY (AB94 -073)
Harris moved the committee recommend to the Council that an ordinance be drafted
to prohibit gas powered motors on Cain Lake.
Motion carried unanimously.
ADJOURN
The meeting was adjourned at 3:46 p.m.
