November 3, 1994
The meeting was called to order at 10 a.m. by Committee Chair Alvin
Starkenburg in the Council Chambers, 311 Grand Avenue.
Also Present:
Ward Nelson
Barbara Brenner
Absent:
None
Marlene Dawson and Bob Imhof were also present.
COMMITTEE DISCUSSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS TO COUNCIL
BUDGET REVIEW OF THE 1995 WHATCOM COUNTY BUDGET FOR THE
FOLLOWING DEPARTMENTS: ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES, AND PLANNING
AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT (AB94 -551)
Administrative Services Director Tom Sutberry made a short presentation to the
Committee and then responded to questions.
At 11:34 a recess was called, and the meeting resumed a few minutes later.
Nate Brown, Planning & Development, and other staff members, including (but
not limited to) Solid Waste Director Bob Jurica and staff, Building Services Division
Manager Sam Ryan and Planning Division Manager Dan Taylor.
The Committee recessed briefly and resumed at 1:37 p.m.
ADJOURN
The meeting was adjourned around 2:20 p.m.
