6 The meeting was called to order at 11 a.m. by Acting Council Chair Alvin Starkenburg in the Council
7 Committee Room, 311 Grand Avenue.

DISCUSSION REGARDING INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT STATUS
(AB96 -042A)
Dawson moved to go into executive session.
Motion carried 5 -0.
The meeting was opened to the public at noon. Brenner was present for this section of the meeting.
The Comprehensive Plan schedule was reviewed. Those speaking included Michael Knapp, Planning
& Development Services, (handout provided and on file) and Vickie Hardin Woods, Planning &
Development Services. Council was given three options for meeting the schedule deadline, which also
included advantages and disadvantages of each. Starkenburg requested this item be scheduled in two weeks
(July 9) for Planning and Development Committee to accept the Comprehensive Plan schedule.
Woods stated Council will receive the Plan from the Planning Commission in mid -July. A public
hearing will be scheduled in September.
