The meeting was called to order at 4:30 p.m. by Committee Chair Barbara Brenner in the
Council Committee Room, 311 Grand Avenue.

1. ORDINANCE AMENDING THE WHATCOM COUNTY CODE BY
CREATING CHAPTER 12.60, WHATCOM COUNTY ROAD NAMING
SYSTEM (AB96 -196)

Brenner moved to amend on page 5, line 26:
"A. Signs on " county roads shall be placed...."
Motion carried unanimously.
Sutter moved to amend on page 5, line 29:
B. Signs on new private roads shall be installed " by the Applicant
in accordance to Whatcom County Development Standards."
Motion carried unanimously.
Sutter moved to amend on page 5, line 34:

"A. For arterial roads:

Motion carried unanimously.
Sutter moved to amend on page 6, lines 2 -3:
