The meeting was called to order at 3:03 p.m. by Committee Chair Alvin
Starkenburg in the Council Committee Room, 311 Grand Avenue.

COMMITTEE DISCUSSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS TO COUNCIL
1. ORDINANCE AMENDING THE WHATCOM COUNTY HEALTH
CODE, CHAPTER 24.06, SEWAGE SLUDGE REGULATIONS (AB96-
044)
Those speaking included:
Regina Delahunt, Health Department
Keith Bode, Attorney for BBLENDS
Starkenburg moved to recommend approval of Exhibit A, Proposed Changes to
WCC 24.06. Scriverner's error (Section 24.06.031 should be .030) was noted.
Motion carried unanimously.
OTHER BUSINESS
Starkenburg called the committee's attention to a Comp Plan Work Session on
February 13 at 10 a.m.
