The meeting was called to order at 5:05 p.m. by Council Chair Marlene
Dawson in the Council Committee Room, 311 Grand Avenue, Bellingham,
Washington.

ADDENDUM: DISCUSSION WITH WHATCOM COUNTY
PROSECUTOR DAVE MCEACHARAN REGARDING POSSIBLE
LITIGATION (AB2000 -018)
Imhof moved to go into executive session for 55 minutes to discuss this
item and the next item.
Motion carried unanimously.
1. DISCUSSION REGARDING OPEN COLLECTIVE BARGAINING
AGREEMENTS (AB2000 -062)
2. DISCUSSION WITH DEPUTY ADMINISTRATOR DEWEY DESLER
REGARDING WHATCOM COUNTY'S LAW AND JUSTICE PLAN (AB99-
463)
Dewey Desler introduced the people working on the Law and Justice Plan,
Dr. Alvin Cohn and Stuart Readio. They delivered the report to the Council about a
month ago. They have now begun phase 2. There are a number of committees
working on this.
