WHATCOM COUNTY COUNCIL
Committee Of The Whole
June 15, 2004
Council Chair Dan McShane called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. in the
Council Committee Room, 311 Grand Avenue, Bellingham, Washington.
Present: Absent:
Barbara Brenner Sharon Roy
Laurie Caskey- Schreiber L. Ward Nelson
Sam Crawford
Seth Fleetwood
McShane stated he would recuse himself from the discussion on the BP
Cogeneration issue. Mr. Monsen is not present for his presentation, but he left a
memo regarding the issue. The Council can make a vote later in the Council
meeting.
Crawford moved to go into executive session for approximately 30 minutes
to discuss these items.
Motion carried unanimously.
1. DISCUSSION WITH SENIOR DEPUTY PROSECUTOR DAVID GRANT
REGARDING TWO ITEMS: BP COGENERATION AND THOUSAND
FRIENDS OF WASHINGTON (AB2004 -018)
2. DISCUSSION WITH PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR JEFF MONSEN
REGARDING THE ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY (AB2004 -018)
ADJOURN
The meeting adjourned at approximately 7:00 p.m.
