Committee Member Carl Weimer called the meeting to order at 9:13 a.m. in the
Council Chambers, 311 Grand Avenue, Bellingham, Washington.

COMMITTEE DISCUSSION AND RECOMMENDATION TO COUNCIL
1. RESOLUTION DOCKETING A ZONING TEXT AMENDMENT THAT WOULD ADD
LAKE PADDEN TO WHATCOM COUNTY CODE CHAPTER 20.71, 20.80.635, AND
20.80.735, AS A WATER RESOURCE PROTECTION OVERLAY DISTRICT,
STORMWATER SPECIAL DISTRICT AND WATER RESOURCE SPECIAL
MANAGEMENT AREA (A02007 -286)
Fleetwood moved to recommend approval to the full Council. It's not terribly
complex. This may be something to allow them to undo what they did at the last meeting.
In consideration of that, it would add an overlay to the Lake Whatcom and Lake Samish
overlays.
Motion carried unanimously,
