Present: Absent: Barbara Brenner None Dan McShane Sam Crawford Seth Fleetwood Laurie Caskey - Schreiber L. Ward Nelson Crawford moved to go into executive session to discuss the agenda items for 45 minutes. McShane stated he would recuse himself from the discussions. He has been given too much information through a conversation with someone who wrote the deal. Also, he read things he shouldn't have. The attorney is a friend. Brenner stated the attorney is also a friend, and she read much of the stuff. She asked if that means she must recuse herself. Karen Frakes, Prosecutor's Office, stated it does not. McShane stated he's overheard conversations while in the attorney's office. Frakes stated the attorney has also donated to Councilmember McShane's campaign. McShane stated there is an appearance issue, no matter which way he votes. He will stay out of it. Motion carried 6 -0 -1 with McShane recusing. 1.
