CALL TO ORDER
Council Chair Kathy Kershner called the meeting to order at 3:30 p.m. in the Council
Committee Room, 311 Grand Avenue, Bellingham, Washington.
ROLL CALL
Present: Ken Mann, Barbara Brenner, Sam Crawford, Kathy Kershner, Pete
Kremen and Carl Weimer
Absent: Bill Knutzen
1. CONSIDERATION OF APPEAL ON GROWTH MANAGEMENT HEARINGS BOARD
DECISION, CASE NO. 11- 2 -0010C (AB2010 -072D)
Brenner moved to approve the filing of a petition for review with the Superior Court
of the Growth Management Hearings Board decision in case no. 11- 2- 0010c, issued on Jan.
9, 2012, regarding the establishment of the Fort Bellingham /Marietta and North Bellingham
LAMIRDS adjacent to UGAs.
The motion carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Kremen, Crawford, Brenner, Mann and Kershner (5)
Nays: Weimer (1)
Absent: Knutzen (1)
OTHER BUSINESS
ADJOURN
The meeting adjourned at 3:32 p.m.
The Council approved these minutes on February 28, 2012.
