WHATCOM COUNTY COUNCIL

September 15, 2009
Committee Chair Barbara Brenner called the meeting to order at 1:30 p.m. in the
Council Chambers, 311 Grand Avenue, Bellingham, Washington.
Present: Barbara Brenner and L. W Nelson.
Absent: Laurie Caskey- Schreiber.
COMMITTEE DISCUSSION AND RECOMMENDATIONS TO COUNCIL
1. RESOLUTION APPROVING THE BIRCH BAY WATER AND SEWER DISTRICT
COMPREHENSIVE WATER SYSTEM PLAN (AB2009 -030A)
Nelson moved to recommend approval to the full Council.
The motion carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Brenner and Nelson (2)
Nays: None (0)
Absent: Caskey- Schreiber (1)
2. RESOLUTION APPROVING THE BIRCH BAY WATER AND SEWER DISTRICT
COMPREHENSIVE SEWER SYSTEM PLAN (AB2009 -030B)
Nelson moved to recommend approval to the full Council.
The motion carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Brenner and Nelson (2)
Nays: None (0)
Absent: Caskey- Schreiber (1)
COMMITTEE DISCUSSION
1. RESOLUTION APPROVING THE WHATCOM COUNTY SIX -YEAR
TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FOR THE YEARS 2010
THROUGH 2015 (AB2009 -361)
Nelson moved to recommend introduction to the full Council.
The motion carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Brenner and Nelson (2)
Nays: None (0)
