Council 7 Chambers, 311 Grand Avenue, Bellingham, Washington. 8 9 Present: Absent: 10 Seth Fleetwood None 11 Bob Kelly ' 13 Also Present: 14 Sam Crawford ' 16s 17 COMMITTEE DISCUSSION AND RECOMMENDATIONS TO COUNCIL; -- CQN', P -LAN 18 19 1. ORDINANCE AMENDING THE WHATCOM COUNTY COMPR'EH`EN"SIVE PLAN TO 20 ADD THE NECESSARY REFERENCES TO RECOGNIZE THE SIGNIFICANCE OF 21 LAKE WHATCOM AS A DRINKING WATER SOURCE, THE STATE LISTING OF 22 LAKE WHATCOM AS AN IMPAIRED WATERBODY, AND THE ROLE OF 23 FORESTRY IN THE LAKE WHATCOM WATERSHED (AB2009 -204) 24 25 Cathy Craver, Planning and Development Services Department, gave a staff report. 26 27 Fleetwood moved to recommend forwarding to the full Council for concurrent 28 review. 29 30 Discussion included the date the Council approved funding to study reconveyance of 31 Washington States Department of Natural Resources (DNR) managed County Forest Board 32 lands. 33 34 Motion carried 3 -0. 35 36 2.
