CALL TO ORDER
Council Chair Sam Crawford called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. in the Council
Conference Room, 311 Grand Avenue, Bellingham, Washington.
ROLL CALL
Present: Barbara Brenner, Sam Crawford, Kathy Kershner, Bill Knutzen, Ken
Mann, L. Ward Nelson and Carl Weimer
Absent: None
1. CONSIDERATION OF APPEAL OF HEARING EXAMINER'S DECISION ON
ADMINISTRATIVE APPEAL NO. APL2009 -0024, FILED BY DANIEL
JOHNSON (AB2010 -114)
2. UPDATE AND DISCUSSION REGARDING LUMMI ISLAND FERRY
DOCK NEGOTIATIONS (AB2010 -018)
Crawford stated that discussion of agenda items one and two may take place in
executive session pursuant to RCW42.30.110 (1)(i).
Mann moved to go into executive session until 7:00 p.m.
The motion carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Brenner, Crawford, Knutzen, Mann, Nelson and Weimer (6)
Nays: None (0)
Absent: Kershner (out of the room) (1)
