CALL TO ORDER
Committee Member Ken Mann called the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m. in the
Council Chambers, 311 Grand Avenue, Bellingham, Washington.
ROLL CALL (3:00:51 PM)
Present: Ken Mann and Barbara Brenner.
Absent: Bill Knutzen.
Also Present: Sam Crawford and Carl Weimer.
COMMITTEE DISCUSSION & RECOMMENDATIONS TO COUNCIL — COMPREHENSIVE
PLAN
1. ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE FOOTHILLS SUBAREA PLAN AND RELATED
AMENDMENTS TO THE WHATCOM COUNTY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AND
OFFICIAL ZONING ORDINANCE AND MAPS (forwarded for concurrent review
on December 7, 2010) - AB2010 -343
Matt Aamot, Planning and Development Services Department, gave a staff report.
He described the modifications to the ordinance that was forwarded in December.
Mann moved to recommend approval of the modified ordinance, as it's presented in
the Council packet, to the full Council.
The motion carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Mann and Brenner (2)
Nays: None (0)
Absent: Knutzen (1)
OTHER ITEMS
