HEARING AND NOTICE OF HEARING ON
SALE OF COUNTY TAX TITLE PROPERTY
REQUEST NO. 090901
1 WHEREAS, the following described property is now, and has been the property
2 of the County of Whatcom, State of Washington since: as noted per parcel below and,
3 WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council does deem it in the best interest of
4 the County and the people thereof that said property be sold; and,
5 WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Property Management Committee
6 recommends the sale of the subject property;
7 WHEREAS, per RCW 36.35.150 (2), the county legislative authority may dispose
8 of tax foreclosed property by private negotiation, without a call for bids, for not less than
9 the principal amount of the unpaid taxes when the sale is to any governmental agency and
10 for public purposes; and;
11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that it is in the best interest of the County
12 to sell:
