The County Council initiated 10 comprehensive plan amendments, along with associated zoning changes for consideration in
2001. Fees were never paid for two of the applications, rendering them void. Therefore, the Planning Commission held
hearings on eight (8) proposed amendments. 1. Threatened Comprehensive Plan amendments must be considered concurrently
j the County Council so that the cumulative effect of the various proposals can be evaluated (RCW 36.70A.130). Additionally,
I,ursuant to the review schedule established in WCC 20.10.120, final Council action on these amendments should occur by
November 30, 2001.
